Pros: High WOW factor

Cons: Expensive? Yes. (So is a Corvette compared to an Impala.)

All mountain all conditions? No. Probably not. Neither are any of my fly rods,  golf clubs or boats. Probably NOT the best ski choice for the one ski individual. I have skied the RTM line as part of a mixed quiver out here in the west and Rocky Mountains since their introduction and of the literally hundred pair of skis I have owned over the past fifty years... The V Werks ranks near the top for what they do and how ell they do it. WHEN I  leave north Idaho for Colorado this would NOT be the only ski I would haul along. Returning to my old home in Sun Valley...probably.

Pros: Strong ski when on edge

Cons: Must always be on edge

Review: The VWerks could very well be the best looking ski in the premium carver category of skis. When Volkl introduced the RTM series last year, they discontinued the AC's The VWerks is an extension of the RTM's and specifically the RTM84 with the addition of adding lightness with high tech materials. The VWerks is a better RTM at medium to high speeds but the ski needs to be doing something all the time, it needs to be on edge. The camberless design along with the early rise tip and tail makes the VWerks feel loose and greasy at slower to medium speeds.
