Pros: great edge, very damp, turns easily
Cons: stiff for powder and crud, expensive
I skied the VWerks RTM 84 in different conditions, cut powder, ice, and spring soft two times several weeks apart. For 84mm under foot the skis are quick edge to edge. Hard snow grip is amazing. It works because the ski is so damp, unlike any ski previously made. It is damp but not dead. In cut up powder the ski is too stiff to give an easy ride. This limits the skis versatility. The non-rocker Code version of the VWerks at 76 underfoot has a similar damp feel and quick edge to edge but feels like it has a longer turn radius. Both these ski offers a better ride on hard snow than anything before them.
