2013 Salomon BBR 10.0

Pros: Handles all terrains without any problem!

Cons: Nothing so far

Handles all terrains, including ice, well but it is particularly good off piste! Have not found any terrain that is not handled well.

Pros: Rips through everything, quick turning, floats awesome, great on packed powder

Cons: Heavy with my Guardian 16 bindings

So I have been following the BBR trend for the last 2 years but never pulled the trigger.  That is until they launched the 10.0 line.  WOW!!!  I paired this with the Salomon Guardian 16 AT binding. I skied on Sunday after a big dump and then again on Tuesday for leftovers.  All of my friends could not keep up with me.  Whether I was gliding through crud, zipper lining through bumps, or ripping huge GS turns at mach 1.  I have never had a pair of skis like this where I felt so confident at high speeds.  I also skied the first lift in the morning and the last lift at 4pm and I could have gone another 2 hours.  I think this was because they were efficient in all conditions and didn't make me work as hard.  I am still glowing!  I am an expert skier at 5'11" 200lbs and am skiing the 184cm model with absolutely no regrets.

Cons: Will be looked over because of being a BBR

This is a big boy ski. It is a shame that many stronger skiers will overlook this new big BBR because of it's name, their loss, this is a real ripping ski. Where I did find the speed limit on a few other skis, the BBR just kept asking me..Is that all you got? Well, I blinked first. While the first generation BBR's were more playful at slower speeds, the 10.0 wants to ski bigger turns and lay out G.S, type turns.
