Pros: Edge hold, speed stability, quickness
Cons: 177 is longest length
I am an older (60+) 210lb ex-really good skier who can no longer ski bumps or trees but likes to ski fast all over the mountain. After demoing a few different higher end skis (including Dyna Outland 80 XT and K-2 Rictor) I was disappointed in the lack of stability in some of the "all mountain" configurations until I got on these--what a difference! Skied like my old racing Kneissls from the 60s and 70s--rock solid at speed and able to change edges extremely quickly and precisely. Very quiet, very stable in variable (mostly hard pack) conditions. The 177s were actually fine but I might have wanted longer in my younger days, but not sure if it would make a noticeable difference.
