2013 Dynastar Cham 107

Pros: Very versatile for a 107 wide ski

Cons: tail can be catchy

Dynastar's Cham collection is is about the freshest collection of skis to come out of Chamanix in recent memory. With it's early rise/extended tip profile/ tip rocker, and cambered underfoot and pin tail, the Cham sports uniquely visual difference from other collection from mainstream manufacturers. The 107 was tested in the 184 length and skied just great. If I was looking for a 107 ski to be a one ski quiver, I think the Cham 107 is as close to that FOR ME as any ski I have tested so far. The 107 was one of the more nimble skis in this category which I think adds to the versatility here. So if you are looking for a one ski quiver in the 110 range, make sure you test the Cham 107

2013 Dynastar Cham 107

The all-new Cham 107 redefines “freeride”. A next-generation, high-performance freeride-adventure ski, the Cham 107 was built in the shadow of Chamonix, the birthplace of extreme skiing. Dynastar athlete and alpine adventurer, Forrest Coots says, “Cham puts Dynastar in the driver’s seat of modern freeride ski design.” Featuring Dynastar’s all-new Levitation Profile and handcrafted, high-quality construction, the Cham 107 delivers a powerful, user-friendly blend of float, maneuverability and stability in all snow conditions from powder, to crud, to hardpack. Cham’s unique, new Levitation Profile is an evolution in 5-point sidecut ski design. The combination of reverse sidecut at the tip and tail with long tip rocker, classic camber underfoot and a flat pintail provides the reliability, versatility and ease-of-use to meet the demands of all-mountain and big-mountain skiing. “A truly versatile and effective ski that puts the skier in complete control.” – Dave Lundberg, PSIA National Alpine Team
