Pros: Technical fabrics make them comfy in most any conditions
Cons: Can't really think of any
I was first introduced to SOS, Sportswear of Sweden, when looking for ski outfits for retro day. One of the things I noticed was that the quality of the "used" garments I found was incredible. Sweaters were lined and appeared to be in new condition some 20-30 years after their original purchase date, and color (oh the color) was as sharp as the day it was made.
So, you can imagine that I was thrilled when I saw the SOS booth at SIA in January, and even more excited when I was fortunate enough to acquire the SOS WS Triangle Pants to wear for the end of the season.
The first thing I noticed was that the fabric was comfortable, stretchy, and the waist band has comfortable adjustment to accommodate the girlish figure. The pockets are easy to access yet shut securely so you don't need to worry about losing your chap stick or money clip when you're hitting the slopes.
I had a chance to wear these on a blustery damp winter day when staying warm and dry was essential, I barely noticed the weather and was able to ski long into the day.
Later in the season, I wore the Triangle Pants with a shell for some amazing spring skiing with the Bears, and am happy to say that the breathable, water resistant materials made it easy to stay comfy.
Besides, I love how the pants compliment my Kastle Ski Jacket for spring skiing!
(now to get an SOS Spring shell for my modest wardrobe)
The Sportswear of Sweden WS Triangle Pants should be a standard part of any woman's ski wardrobe.
