Pros: Classic style with modern technology
Cons: Almost too warm if you're getting after it
I was first introduced to SOS, Sportswear of Sweden, when looking for ski outfits for retro day. One of the things I noticed was that the quality of the "used" garments I found was incredible. Sweaters were lined and appeared to be in new condition some 20-30 years after their original purchase date, and color (oh the color) was as sharp as the day it was made.
So, you can imagine that I was thrilled when I saw the SOS booth at SIA in January, and even more excited when I was fortunate enough to acquire an SOS Millory jacket to wear for the end of the season.
What I found upon first impressions is that SOS has continued to grow in their quest for having the best quality product with their traditional SOS flair. After wearing the Millory Jacket a few times, my initial impression of features and quality was reinforced.
For that skier who's looking for a warm, water resistant, breathable ski jacket that moves when you move. Look no further. The Millory is made with Herringbone fabric and 40 GM Thermolite Active insulation to give you optimum movability and warmth when you're hitting it hard on the slopes.
The two tone colored fabric and feminine lines only add to the slimming, classic look of this fun and technical ski jacket.
I can hardly wait until cold weather to have an excuse to wear it again!
