2012 Salomon Sentinel Reviews

Racer's all mountain ski

Posted

Pros: Crud blasting, speed, stiff tail, edge grip, gs turns, steeps

Cons: Not for mellow skiers, slow edge to edge

The Sentinel is an excellent board for super aggressive skiers with the strength and skill to go all out.  This is a BIG MOUNTAIN ski that reminds me of a wide version of a GS race ski, it's awesome in the crud and cut up powder if you are the balls to the walls type of skier.     You will not like these if you are a mellow casual skier, It craves a strong driver.  These skis will take you for a ride at the end of the day when you are worn out and tired from a day of blasting around the mountain.    I ride the 184 (5'9 155#'s)
