After enjoying my Nano Puff Pullovers so much I wanted another one in purple to go with a particular outfit, but couldn't find purple in my size, no matter how hard I looked.   This led me to buying the Nano Puff Jacket as a close second.   A couple things that I noticed right away were the longer waist of the jacket over the pullover, and the extra hand pockets, both of which are pleasant additions for me.  The Left breast pocket is tucked inside the jacket, where the pullover pocket is on the front, and the full zip makes it easier to get on and off.

All in all, as much as I adore my Nano Puff Pullover(s), the Nano Puff Jacket is a phenomenal addition to my ski wardrobe!

2012 Patagonia Women's Nano Puff Jacket

Take our classic original Nano Puff® Pullover, add a full-length zipper for greater all-around ease and, presto, the versatile Nano Puff Jacket. It is windproof and weather-resistant enough to wear as an insulated shell in a gusty snowstorm, trim enough to pull on for chilly rock pitches (and still see your footholds), and warm enough for light belay parka duty on quick alpine dashes. The wind-blocking, moisture-shedding 100% recycled polyester shell also glides effortlessly, whether worn as an outer or midlayer. Low-bulk, hydrophobic, highly compressible PrimaLoft® One (60-g) insulation traps heat with remarkable efficiency, even when wet. It packs down to practically nothing and stuffs into an internal zippered chest pocket that has a carabiner clip-in loop. It also has two zippered handwarmer pockets, elasticized cuffs and a dual-adjust drawcord hem to seal out wind and seal in warmth. Details Lightweight recycled polyester ripstop shell with a Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish Lightweight 60-g PrimaLoft One polyester insulation provides excellent warmth and compressibility Unique quilt pattern holds insulation in place, which promotes durability and longevity Pockets: Two zippered handwarmers, one internal zippered chest pocket doubles as a stuff sack and has a carabiner clip-in loop Dual-adjust drawcord hem keeps drafts out and seals in warmth Shell: 1-oz 15-denier 100% recycled polyester.
