Pure pow for lighter skier
Pros: Smooooth
Cons: Can get over powered
With the BMX98 (and up) we are getting into the better BMX's. The 98 is a great powder option for a lighter guy or woman. The early rise will get the ski up and along with Kastle's Hollowtech tip the ski belies it's dimensions, in softer snow the ski can feel wider and will still hook-up (initiate a turn) in mixed conditions and crud. While there are are more powerful skis in the 98mm class, there are few that are as smooth in the softer snow. If you are looking for a 98mm ski with a soft snow bias, the BMX98 should be at the top of your list.
Other skis in class...Blizzard Bonafide, Rossi Experience 98, Line Prophet 98, Fischer Watea 98
