Pros: Light feeling
Cons: Light feeling
While I am about the biggest fan of the MX88 as there is, I was very underwhelmed by the BMX88 but...
First the good...The BMX88 will be a great ski for a lighter guy or stronger woman who is looking for a smooth ride that will handle light crud and some off piste terrain. If you want the Kastle name at more of an affordable price point, the BMX88 is a great option.
Now the bad...I do think Kastle is trying to expand down market too fast with the addition of the narrower BMX's (under 98mm underfoot). At 899.00 I do thing there are superior skis in the 88mm segment.
Overall..the BMX88 is a very good ski, but not a Kastle.
Other skis to consider...Blizzard Bushwacker, Rossi Experience 88, Dynastar Sultan 85
