REVIEW:
The Fischers always have that light nimble feel, I guess it is the carbon they put in their construction. It is a feel that either works for you or it doesn't and I am sure that will vary from application to application. The previous Wateas were some of my favorite big skis with a frontside bias in this category, the new ones with the hull tip have more of an off piste bias. Not that one is better than the other, just a difference in feel. I do find that the new generation is more for the lighter finesse skier as compared to the bigger driver skiers. If you are looking for a bigger ski that is light and playful in spirit, take a look at the Watea, I think you will have fun.
Other skis to consider: Line Prophet 115, K2 Kung Fujas Dynastar 6th Huge.
