Cons: Initiation, energy

Tested Length: 178
Turn Radius: 15 meters
Price w/binding: $899.95

The Good: Stability, long and medium radius turns, the price
The Bad: Initiation, energy

Verdict: The Outland is a great value for skiers looking for an all-mountain ski with stability and a consistent medium radius turn almost anywhere on the frontside of the mountain that you want to ski it. It wasn’t as dynamic as some other Dynastars we tested, especially when trying to set up short swing turns, but one tester said that its predictability and all-mountain shape made this his favorite ski in the class.
