Blizzard Bonafide

Pros: Initiation, long turns

Cons: Short turns

Ski: Blizzard Bonafide Dimensions: 135/98/118 Tested Length: 187 Turn Radius: 23 meters Price w/out binding: $799.95   The Good: Initiation, long turns The Bad: Short turns   Verdict: One of a series of breakthrough big mountain skis from Blizzard, featuring the brand’s proprietary “flip core,” which basically builds its rocker profile via a reverse cambered core. Like that “naturally” curved core, our testers found the Bonafide a natural to ski. Good response, good initiation, and a very comfortable arc were all noted, as was a propensity to really give back energy the harder and faster it was skied.

Blizard Bones

Pros: stable, fast, comfortable, forgiving, all mountain

Cons: not sure I have found any yet

Amazing performers. Best ski I have ever had. I got these to be all mountain skis and after fours days in CO they sure seem to be. No real powder yet, so jury out on that.  The Boners comfortable under foot while you wait and wait in the lines, smooth and easy as pie to turn on the mild groomers (what isn't) with just a slight twist of the ankle. Then as the slop gets stepper a dream to turn or run fast. Next, and this blew me away, was when you hit the skied off (should I say snow board plowed) steep slopes they really can bite if you do two things. First get a good way over on the edges, nothing new.....now the weird thing. put you wieght over your heal, no don't lean...

Fun ski

Pros: felt light, playful, stable at speed

Cons: none

Was able to demo these and Prophet 98.  Only had groomed and maybe 6" of powder stashes in the trees, so not a comprehensive test.  Felt the Bones to be quicker and more fun.  Prophets felt stable but did not inspire me.  I'm no expert, but a pretty decent skiier.  Hope this helps.

Great skis but...

Pros: great in deep pow

Cons: icy conditions & speed

I've been skiing the Bonafide 187 cm (I'm 6"2 and 190lbs), here are my conclusions: -In the deep snow, they are really cool, the "rocker" hgelps a lot, the skis jumps out the pow, but still you need muscles, they prefer long long turns to the short one between the trees. -On hard packed snow, they are a little bit disappointing, they move quite a lot at high speed, the ski tips move a lot... i wasn't that confident at mach 2... I must say i've prefered the Line Prophet 98!
