Pros: Turns on a dime
Cons: Bounces around in heavy crud
This ski surprised me with its nimbleness despite the distance from edge to edge. It does very well in bumps and tight spaces such as trees and gullies, and in a foot of powder does the big mountain high speed swooping kind of turns that are so exhilarating, while also being able to carve arc to arc on groomers. I have skied it as my everyday ski for several days in all sorts of conditions and have not felt at any great disadvantage even on days we were skiing week old wind scoured snow. But on a powder day, it's clear that this is what the ski was designed for.
Addendum: I recommended this ski to a friend of mine. Here's her (glowing) review:
"I loved my skis! I skied yesterday from 9:00 until noon and skied stuff that I never would have attempted before. Well, I would have attempted, but it wouldn’t have been pretty. My confidence level soared. Hard to believe a pair of skis could do that, but they did! I skied a groomer off the Bridger lift to start just to get the feel. That was the last groomer I skied for the day. What a blast. By far the best fun I have had skiing all year."
