2010 Nordica Enforcer Ski

Pros: Great all around ski for the NE tree skiier

Cons: May react a bit quickly on a deep powder day

Demo at 177CM.  Weigh 175, 5 ft 10 inches and 55 years young.  Plan on buying next years model (2011-2012 season).  Great ski on Northeast hardpack.  Easy initiation.  Fun Ski.  Tried against the Atomic Savage and K2 Hardside.

Pros: Decent all around powder ski

Cons: had some stability problems in the length tested

These skis were the widest skis i have ever been on.  My previous skis were RX-6s with a 68 mm waist so i was afraid that I wasn't going to be able to handle them well, but after my first warm up run on a gentle slope, I knew they weren't going to give me much of a problem.  I demoed these recently at Sugar Bowl after a small storm that dropped 3-6 inches of snow.  The Enforcer surprised me in how easy it was to manuver and get on edge.  It did chatter some on harder snow at higher speeds, but it wasn't anything that was unmanagable.  In powder it floated (note that i'm only 125 pounds) and in crud it only occasionaly tossed me around.  These skis gave me a lot more confidence to try harder terrain and were a gateway for me to wider waisted skis.  (After skiing the Enforcer I demoed the Volkl Mantra, Rossignol Phantom SC 97, Dynastar Sultan 85, and Line Prophet 90)
2010 Nordica Enforcer Ski

The Nordica Enforcer is a multi-season best-seller for a reason. Built with speed and stability in mind, the Enforcer has two sheets of metal and a traditional sandwich core to take on hardpack and crud like a bullet train. Never afraid to open up on a groomer, the Enforcer handles high speeds with confidence-inspiring dampness, yet a short-radius sidecut makes the Enforcer more nimble in tight spots than its name would suggest. A soft tip and mid-fat dimensions give you some added float in soft snow, just in case you get lucky in the trees after a storm. This is a ski that will play all day in most conditions, and it's even light enough to rig up for touring if that's your thing. A truly great one-ski quiver for the advanced all-mountain charger.
