Rated #113 in All-Mountain Skis

Pros: Smooth, supple, quick, solid, fun

Cons: None for the conditions I skied it

I just demoed these skis (176) for a day in early April at Squaw.  The snow was thick and wet.  These skis plowed through everything with ease, grace, precision, and a sense of fun.  On the flats and groomers, it brought a smile to my face.  It easily drifted out from my body and back across and handled speed with no problems.  Not squirrelly at all.  On the steeps, through some funnels, around trees and rocks, it was quick and easy, but also solid.  In the thick Sierra crud, it handled better than any other ski I've been on.  Through big, soft bumps, it really shined, and showed both pop and power.  (It is a Hart afterall.)  For those who care about graphics, it is a handsome ski, with a mahogany-like veneer reminiscent of older skis.  I just loved these and highly recommend them for anyone looking for a big mountain ski for soft snow.

2010 Hart One

Captures all the skiing characteristics of a great powder ski without sacrificing the ski’s ability to carve itself sharply through the powder and groomed surfaces as well. As close to a "one-ski quiver" ski as you'll find. Fast becoming known as one of the best in its class with a silky smoothness about it that makes skiing the ski truly fun. A short turn radius makes it extremely maneuverable in negotiating tight chutes and trees as well as deep powder bowls.
