Pros: Fun turning ski and lightweight to carry
Cons: less adapted for on-slopes
This ski brings 'fun' wherever you use it. In powder, it's the best ski I've used since my Lacroix Softs, in the early 1980s. It floats perfectly in knee deep powder, and reacts fast to spontaneous change requirements on powder slopes that shift from deep to wind-packed.
Naturally 'light' due to the construction, it can be less sure when fast-running on any slope, but is fun enough in bumps, and really is a great all-around ski. With randonnée bindings, it's perhaps the lightest ski I have ever used (182cm/ 94kg). Looking forward to some late spring climbing with its optional (separate purchase) magnetic-clip skins system.
Bright yellow topskin means you may be found more rapidly in an avalanche situation :-)
