Full throttle fun ski

Pros: Very Lively, light, easy to turn

Cons: Hates hard snow and ice!

This is my second season on them and I have nothing but great things to say...... except one.  The pros:  from powder to packed powder, from groomers to bumps to steeps, the ski can do it all.  It's one of  the most lively skis I have skied especially at 85 under foot.  There is only one reason I couldn't pull the trigger on a 5 star rating.  The ski hates hard pack and ice.  I would say if you are a east coast skier, this may not be your ski.  I am a 6'0 190lb advanced to expert skier.  My Fury's are 177cm and on the hard stuff they chatter alot.  If you let them run, they are ok, but the minute you press that shovel to slow, they chatter.  If you are like me and ski mostly utah like...

Pros: carving, moguls, a bit of off piste, very versatile

Cons: not great at busting crud or in powder

Got these on sale at Sports basement with bindings for around 600$.  Great resort groomer ski that I love for Winter Park bump runs in the spring.  It even handled well this past weekend when we got a couple fee of snow up at Squaw in Tahoe. I would say this is a great aggressive ski for advanced skiers to pair with a bigger all mountain/powder ski.

I am in the market for a new pair of skis so I demoed these for a weekend in Squaw Valley. They performed admirable through rain, sleet and 18" of new powder. I was happy that I could carve the mountain easily on the wet groomers and was even more surprised on how well they handled the new powder on the second day of the weekend. One con: they did not handlethe wet stuff very well when the weather changed from sleet to snow. There were a couple of times where I thought I might get ejected from my skis when I ran into a deep, wet patch of snow. They are certainly on my short list of skis.
