Rossignal was kind enough to replace my Z11's which I bent, with the CS70. The Z11 was a good ski but poorly designed causing the ski to be weak. The CS70 is quite a stiff ski making it well suited for carving GS/Super G type turns. The ski is also quite wide (will not fit into most ski racks on slope side bus transportation). However, this gives it stability in heavy snow and crud. If you are looking for a ski that you can carve quick slalom turns this is probably not the ski (by carving I refer to leaving a single edge track behind you / NO SLIPPING). The ski is stiff enough that you would need to exert extraordinary pressure to carve short turns particularly on boilerplate or ice. None-the-less, this ski is a terrific all mountain ski. However, if you are not a strong technical skier, you might want to try something not quite so stiff. I would also say that because of the stiffness, the CS70 is probably indestructible unless you hit something like a rock straight on. Bottom line, the CS70 is a terrific all mountain ski built for a strong skier.
