All around powder ski

Posted

Pros: damp, good edge grip, floats fine, round flex, medium flex

Cons: silly turned-up tail

It's a powder ski that doesn't sacrifice ability to carve when you're forced onto packed snow and even has decent edge grip.  The round, medium flex is perfect for fast off-piste skiing.  It's damp (like all Heads) which helps in rough snow.

Great Skis, A true ripper...

Pros: stiff, responsive, can't take enough abuse

Cons: durability, well sort of...

I have had 3 sets of these skis now, the first set  was the 2008 model (with the waves) these skis lasted a total  of 7 days before the sidewall exploded all the way to the core. Fast, stiff, a real charging ski, when looking at the ski compared to  a Dynastar XXL, or a 4frnt VCT, they look a little flimsy,  but whatever they did to reinforce these skis, it shows, I can't give these skis enough abuse,  they have about 25 days of deep snow skiing, and they rip.... well worth the initial 350 i spent...
