Pros: Great All Around Ski

I bought the 175cm Cool Heat to replace my RX8's.  For the past few years my skiing has been limited to Ohio, New York and PA.  I wanted an all around ski and I do not have the money nor mindset to buy a quiver of skis.

I am 240 lbs, 5 foot 9 inches tall, 46 years old, started skiing at 2.  I am a level 8 skier, previously a level 9 when I was younger and less fat.

I am really impressed with the Cool Heats.  They hold on ice.  They make short, medium and long turns,  Short turns are a bit more work than the RX8s, but no problem.  They are more stable than the RX8s in slush and heavy wet snow.  I have spent a lot of time in the moguls this year and they work fine.  Maybe a bit too stiff for lighter weight skiers, but at my weight I am only guessing.

If I lived out west, I might go with the wider Cold Heat or Big Heat, but I think the Cool Heat would work fine.

No complaints.
