Pros: float and maneuverability
The AK Rocket Swallowtail came in only one size 195 cm. It is for slaying big mountain lines in deep powder. The ski has dimentions of 130/95/114 so, it has some conventional shape that enables it to competently ski on groomed on the way to the lift. This ski is all about charging in deep snow. It is a directional ski, but the swallowtail allows higher front end float and pivoting turns to spoil speed. They are really easy to ski, forgiving, but stiff enough to hold a line and not chatter on the cut-up bumps (or crust underneath) as the day went on. They turn super fast, almost Spatula-like -- they feel a lot shorter than 195cm.
If you have the conditions, go ski this. Its fun.
