In album: The S Series
"The S3 skis easier in any snow condition because of its unique design called AmpTek. AmpTek combines traditional and reverse camber to deliver more versatility, rebound, boost and ease-of-use than conventional skis. The traditional camber underfoot delivers power, energy and edge grip under foot where you need it most. The reverse camber “rocker” at the tip and tail delivers more flotation, easier steering and more forgiveness. The sidecut of the ski uses Rossignol’s Reverse sidecut technology, a spatula tip and pin tail with regular sidecut directly under the foot. When skiing powder the 128/98/118 directional sidecut is dominant which is perfect for slashing deep turns. On the piste the110/98/110 sidecut skies like a true twin in the park or landing switch. The S3 also makes a great backcounty Alpine Touring / Tele ski. It is perfect powder tool for backcountry skiers who love skiing the deep. The S3 gives a whole new meaning to one ski quiver. Graphic inspired by Caia Koopman.
