I'd stay as close as possible to alta/bird if we do at least 4 days there, probably driving when we don't I think it would be just too much time to switch accomodations, so trying to stay the whole week on a single place, the lodge/meals...

I'm thinking second option, 9-14 might be crowded if you stay for the weekend because of presidents day, on the other hand it might be good if you wanna go back home and don't have to work Monday!

Anyone planning on snowbird? I was planning to ski there on Monday, now trying to look for the best deal available. Doesn't look like they are having any deals on lift tickets. Alta has the $55 with any season pass, nothing like that...

subscribed!   Also adding that given Reno seems to be one of the best hub access airport to Mammoth the optional Squalpine days make total sense since it's sort of on the way back to the airport!
