did you checked you weight/height/bsl with a din table to see if the 8.5 is what you should be skiing? Also, just to be sure, did you make sure there was no ice built up in the boots or bindings?
It's hard to compare different skis in different conditions and with different level of usage... there are just too much variables in this process! 50 to 75 days on a ski is still quite new and in good shape given that you take care of...

I think the powboards are 138 underfoot, so go with de 130mm. For the mantras I would go with 90mm, lots of folks here using 90mm breaks on 90+something skis
