iPhone "App a Day" Contest!!!

Join the fun and test your powers of recognition to win a very cool app by a fellow Bear!
 

Skier219 has developed a new iPhone app that serves as a compass, GPS, map, zoom camera, and two-axis inclinometer which is available for 99 cent download at the iTunes Store.

 

Trekchick says, "I played with this app a little at Stowe, mostly the zoom for the camera. This is a great piece of work!"

 

Here's how the contest works:

• For ten days, starting January 5, we'll be awarding an app a day to the first person who correctly posts the location of the background photo in that day's contest.

• All background photos are of mountain resorts that hardcore EpicSkiers would recognize.
Here's an example:

• Each day's contest will have its own thread in the EpicSki Auctions and Special Events forum, identified by date.

The app only works on iPhones (not iPods because they lack camera and GPS), and the download coupons only work for people who use the US iTunes store. If you cannot use Theodolite (if, for instance, you only have an iPod and not an iPhone), we'll get you a coupon for one of skier219's other apps.

 As nolo mentioned, the contest is mainly for the Theodolite augmented reality app, but that requires an iPhone for camera/GPS.  If you win one of the ten days of the contest and have an iPod Touch, or already have Theodolite, I'd be glad to substitute any one of the other apps listed below:

Day 1 was a photo of Lake Louise and was identified first by Aggie Lucas.

This looks like Val D'Isere to me personally. Just for curiousity, whats the mtn in the picture?
