Hi

Looking for some quick advice. I am looking to buy the 66s used. I do not race and will be doing all north east skiing. I got back into skiing with my son and have skies that are 20 years old. I ski most anything but nothing crazy or fast compared to most. I am 240lb 6"-1" boot size 30.5 and have been told this is not bad ski for my weight. I skied demos last (k2 170cm) year and loved them but once I got going found I wanted to parallel and go faster. Kept crossing my skies. Will these skies work for me??

They are great skis, but I wouldn't look at straight-up race skis unless you either run gates or know what you are getting into.  These are race stock unless I am mistaken, which means stiff and little sidecut. You may be better served by the consumer race carver, which has sidecut and is more versatile. Or, even the new 4x4 from Dynastar, which is very versatile and still good on hard snow. The Course Comp is a great ski, if you have a big hill and like to ski pretty fast.  Wouldn't be my only ski, though.
