Can anyone assist me in identifying this board?

A friend of mine had a board given to him.  It's obviously ancient.  He was going to turn it into furniture of some sort but wanted me to check around to see if it might be worth something before the took a saw/drill to it.  We know nothing about it really.  Looks to me to be 1987'ish.  Only marking on it is the Burton on the bottom.
I know the pictures are bad.  He's evidently a technotard.

It's one of the Burton backhill type models.  One of the later ones and probably one of the last models they made.  Don't turn it into furniture.  I am not sure that it's worth a ton.  First year models of that type of board are going for over $1k on Ebay though.  I'd mount it on a wall or something.  If your bud doesn't want it, I'll gladly take it off his hands.  I've got a bar that board would look great hanging over.
