Hey nolo, how about we get EpicSki supporters to pool some money together and open an EpicSki home mountain!?

We should have a couple hundred supporters now, right? That means that if there were ~500 people pitching in, we'd each only have to pony up $2000.

Think about it...$2000 up front to get the rights to a mountain. Then we could basically open a members-only mountain, with yearly member fees going towards maintenance and operation...sort of a EpicSki.com SuperSupporter.

C'mon, who's with me!?

Love the idea, but thats only for the minimum bid; if it goes at the estimated value its 10k each although if we made it a public mountain for select weekends and holidays we could make up some of the value.

Great spot for a Bears' retirement den.  Got a golf course?

Easiest way to make a small fortune: start with a large one and buy a ski resort.

$200K in back taxes due. Might be cheaper to wait till the tax sale.

Did you notice how far south Beaver, Ut is? 2 words = short season!

With ultimate dedication to its customers through personal service, Elk Meadows Ski and Summer Resort is an up-and-coming resort with several renovations in the process. With its central Utah location, Elk Meadows offers uncrowded slopes and a variety of winter and summer activities not far from the five national parks and monuments. Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park are within only a couple hours drive of Elk Meadows, which make it a prime destination during all seasons. Skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and tubing are some of the popular winter pastimes. In summer, guests enjoy mountain biking, horseback riding, ATVing, fishing, hang gliding and more. Slope-side lodging and dining as well as rentals are available.

looks like the closest golf is 40 miles north of Beaver or approx 58 miles from the resort
