Old Guy, Old Ski Magazines

I'm an old guy (55) who skied in high school, gave it up for a long time, then started again about 8 years ago. I read SKIING magazine in the late 60's and early 70's. I remember an article about ski technique called  "Lift, Point and Squash" (Lift the inside foot, point the knees towards the center of the turn, squash your heel) that strikes me as a forerunner of certain current techniques. Can't find it in SkiNet archives, can't find old SKIING mags online. Anybody have access to old issues, about 1970-71? Thanks

Welcome to EpicSki!

There are several Bears that saved old ski magazines.  They've scanned parts of then and posted then throughout this thread. 

Most of these are ads and photos, but they provide the publication and issue date.  If you see the year you are looking for just reach out to the person that posted it.  Most will gladly scan and share what you are looking for.

I might have some, but that's probably before I started saving them. Don't hold your breath. It will take a while to find the bottom of the pile.
