FS: Dynastar 192cm 21m radius WC GS skis, two pairs, cheap.

I'm trying to help one of my son's college teammates, who needs to raise cash to pay for this year's equipment {at a much higher cost than anticipated}. He's selling all of his old equipment, including these two pairs, which he had hoped to keep to free ski.

They are two matched pairs of 06/07 192cm Dynastar GS skis, with a 21 meter radius. These are full-on laminated square topside skis. The skier was one of the top Dynastar athletes in the country, and they were hand picked for him by Dynastar race. These were very lightly used that season, as he unfortunately has a season ending injury early on.

The skis are in very, very good shape. They don't need a thing. Tuned to 1 and 3 degrees. They come with the Dynastar WC plates, which accept Rossi/Look race bindings of that vintage. These are pretty unusual due to their very light use. They are also a very easy to ski race ski, and the last year that the ski was built with a 21m radius. Much more versatile than a 27m ski. These skis tend to "ski shorter" in terms of feel, than a 192-3 from another manufacturer.

He needs to act quickly on this. If they aren't sold by the 11/18, they are headed to a ski sale. I'm trying to help him out.

Couple of important updates:

1. These come with the WC plate that is predrilled for the newer bindings, and has the "dimples" to be drilled for the older "turntable" style bindings. Any Look or Rossi binding from the past 5-6 years should fit. I have a very detailed picture of the plate. The plate was planed on the side to narrow it, so that there would be no chance of it dragging. Done by Dynastar race.

2. Thse skis have the hard base inserts running along the edges, to prevent wear or base burn. It's a complicated process to press a ski with that feature. Very unusual to see on a GS ski. Normally only found on some "real deal" DH and SG skis. These were absolutely among the top stock to come into this country in 06/07, available only to their handful of top skiers.

The skis have almost all of their edge left....estimate 80%+. Tons of base left as well. Ground just for the initial grind. The owner broke his leg in late January of that season, so neither pair got much use.

The owner leaves for Summit County at noon on 11/20, and they'll be going to a ski swap if unsold.

I would be all over these if I didn't have two pairs of 191cm 21m radius skis. They'd be a very fun cruising ski. Also a heck of a lot more managable in a race course than a 27m ski for many of us!
