First day back on skis in 5 months. I forgot what an adrenaline rush it was. Flakes slow floating down and the cold fresh mountain air. The lodge is Timberline a historical building that never gets old to visit. Here's a few pictures we took today.

Stayed there this June.  The walls are thin and the sounds from the next room were...ummm..inspirational.

Nice place from which to get an early start skiing too.

Actually, Slider's pics are of the hotel. The day lodge for skiers is a separate building that looks much more like the typical day lodge with cafeteria, rental shop, ski shop, patrol HQ, etc.
