K2 Hellbent: what bindings are reccomended?

Hello! I have a "new" pair of '08/09 K2 Hellbent 179cm skis, and need advice for bindings for them: they need 130mm brakes.

I am 6'2", 195lbs, strong intermediate skier,  just started learning powder/twin tip skiing the last two years on K2 PE's w/Salomon V12 bindings... I have looked at Marker, Salomon and Rossignol, but have not decided what makes the most sense for the money: Marker Jester seem a bit heavy and pricey; Salomon STH might be strong enough (although we destroyed a pair of V12's last year on EP's in 4 weeks); never owned Rossi's. I ski mostly at White Pass Washington.

Thanks in advance!

I'd go for either a Jester or STH 14 (12 might be fine too). The fat brakes fit the ski no hassle. Bindings are good. This year's Jester is a bit lower than last year's - which is good. The STH heel track is bomber...

Really, any decent binding with a fat 130-ish brake available or a decently bendable brake will do (bending threads/tutorials at TGR). The theme should be relatively low & a low to flat ramp angle. Mount at or ahead of +6.   +7 or +7.5 seems happy for lots of folks. Some really flippy spinny types are even farther forward - but that's a big switch bias.

I've skied both and currently have 2 pairs of STH14's,  on bro 183's and Movement thunders and like them alot..  The Jesters are fairly heavy and a pretty solid binding, however I find the flat ramp angle noticable..  Funny, (now it is) I was skiing in Utah 2 years ago late season and we had a nice 2-3 foot dump and I was on my then watea 94's/jester set-up going thru the trees and hit a tree well and fell forward, (not good), tore my left calf.  I always felt that my bindings didn't release well in that fall, I have since sold that set-up and moved on, I do still have Dukes however that are clamped to 08 Gotamas...  I'd go with the STH 14's at this point, my 02 cents...  Good luck..

Thanks for the feedback... Ive had so many different slants on this issue: one shop is trying to sell me old stock Marker 1300 Ti's (not!). I will look at the STH 14 again, it looked good on first take, but was told it could not be ordered with the 130 brake..?!
