Has anybody ever purchased used used skis form Evo Gear (evogear.com)?  Experience, good or bad?

I have not purchased anything used from them. But I have done business with them. They are a great shop. Top notch folks in my experience - which includes buying both online and at their Fremont shop. I'm pretty picky about who I give my business to and they are on my personal "approved" list...

I bought a pair of used skis from them last month.  Very good deal.  I paid $177. for skis with bindings, demo bindings with movable toe pieces.  The condition of the bases was excellent, the condition of the topsheets was very good (I would not have cared if the tops were poor).  One of the brakes was missing the black plastic cap on one side,  but hardly a dealbreaker for $177 delivered.  I would buy from them again in a heartbeat.
I'd rather be skiing

I have purchased used skis from them and had a good experience.  My purchase was a used set of 2007 Nordica Hot Rod Nitrous skis.  Shipping was fast and the item arrived as described.  The only cautionary note I would mention is to read their Gear Condition Guide and be prepared for anything as described within range of condition of the gear you buy.  My skis were rated as 'value' and arrived with slightly more chipping out of the top sheet than I was expecting, although given the description of their value gear the equipment was certainly within the range of cosmetic wear specified.

The skis I'm looking at are one year old in the 'Standard' gear condition group, they are $150 less than the new old stock version.

I know it's moot, but someone else may search some other time.

I bought a pair of used 158 Dynastar Exclusive Legend Powders from Evo for my wife.  It was ostensibly in "value" condition, but the only notable defect on my wife's skis was the grease pen from the demo or rental shop.  For $140, shipped, including Look NX12 demos, they're one of the best value ski purchases I've ever made.

Just for the future searchers.  I bought a pair of Dynastar 4800s in standard condition, and had the same experience as IL Skier.  They were within the condition guide, but a little more banged up than I expected.  When I spoke with evo before I ordered, they made it sound like I'd hardly notice.
