Do the different levels of the same boot model fit the same?

I am currently using Gransport Easy 8 boots. I need to retain the ease of entry due to foot problems, and I am more of a slow recreational skier. I tried on the tecnica mega 14 and both the dealer and I felt they were an excellent fit. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the $400 they are charging for this boot. I would like to consider the mega 12 or 10 to cut the cost, but no-one in my area carries them. My question: My dealer is willing to order the 10 or 12 for a reasonable price. But, before putting them to all this trouble I was wondering if I should expect them to fit the same or almost the same as the 14. I don't want to have them get the boot in and find out it isn't right. The dealer says they should fit the same and have the same ease of entry, but I just want some confirmation on that before I give them the dp.
Thanks!

The same model and size within a boot line will use the same last shape.  You may find a difference in foam density, firmer in higher models, or plastic stiffness as you go up the line, but the foot shape should remain the same in my experience.
