The Vouch for me thread!

long story short I am having trouble finding my old landlords in utah quickly(they are in mexico windsurfing with no contact to the outside would besides snail mail) and I need references to let people know I am not like a serial killer or something to get place up in vermont. So I figured I have met literally 100s of you guys and gals at some point in time so why not let you guys be my reference.

So if you have something nice to say seriously say it, keep it real and concise, to help me get a place to stay for the winter. also meeting me in person is key component of this.

to the moderators
I hope this is ok, or at least let it be ok for a couple days.

thanks alot to the bears, my friends in advance

Josh Matta

I am a business owner and homeowner in Jackson Hole, WY.  I think highly enough of Josh Matta that I was ready to recommend him to two of my personal friends who needed roommates.  I also offered to let him use me as a reference to apply for a job at the ski school here and was ready to put him to work in my business to help him through the off season.  He decided to work at Stowe this winter.  Our loss, Stowes' gain.  Josh is very health and fitness oriented and serious enough about his skiing career that he has achieved a full teaching certification from PSIA.  This is not an easy accomplishment.  I know that Josh will be a conscientious and reliable tenant.

Hold on, you could get people to rent to you in UTAH and you're having problems in Vermont? That's weird. I practically had to give a blood sample to sublet a dump in Sandy.

My daughter and I skied with Josh at Snowbird over Memorial Day Weekend 2008.  He is a gracious host, terrific skier, and kind soul.  Anytime he wants to come to California, he has a place to stay with me.

the people in utah are skiing, wind surfing, Mt rainer climbing hippies who became real estate millionares by good planning. I fit in well with their family when there were home. They have never worked a real job in their lifes and own property in Sandy, Mexico, and Hood River.

to everyone else thanks a bunch keep it coming!

You're a Poacher.

Keep an eye on your daughters.

Seriously, Josh, I've only had the opportunity to meet and ski with you once, but I think we hit it off ok didn't we? I'm generally a judge of good character and in my book besides being a good skier who is looking to be pushed, you're a great young man with a pleasant personality and a fantastic smile.

I'll vouch for Josh as well.  I'm a federal executive that works in the security business.  He's a solid citizen, a great guy to be around, and I'd hire him tomorrow if he applied to a job I had available.

Josh is reliable, dependable, trustworthy, and personable.  Based on the online posts he appears to also be very health conscious.  Those attributes should make him an excellent tenant.

Smell that?  Winter's coming!

 I don't know Josh,

but once he complimented one of my TR's.

I've had a beer with MTT, he seems to think Josh is nice enough.

The only thing wrong with him is he's trying to rent a place in Vermont instead of Utah, Wyoming or Tahoe.

yup, I left out Colorado.
y'all are too crowded anyways,
plus, it ain't west.

anything that touches Kansas ain't "out west".

Doesn't he also play keyboards and/or other instruments well?  Oh wait, landlords hate musicians because that means loud band practices.  Don't add that to the list of recommendations.

Josh, you're welcome to use me as a reference. I live and work here in Stowe and would be happy to talk with any potential landlord face to face if that would help.

I'm a landlord and I'd be happy to have Josh renting from me.

My dog loves the bumps too.
