I will be in Rochester with a co worker from Nov. 8-13. Anyone close by that would like to grab a drink with a fellow bear. What can we do to kill time after 4:00 weekdays, We will be in Webster at the iGen Training center for the week. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Enjoy the wings and weck. I miss them, and I miss the apples and cider right now too. But I have Chiavettas sent here by the case.

Snow.
...and for the record. Rochester doesn't make wings.

If you want local cuisine, have a garbage plate. If you want wings and weck, come to where we actually
know how to make them...

Just like skis made in Austria are better... wings made in Buffalo are better.
Duffs, Bar Bill (East Aurora - Rick should know this one), Anchor Bar Shannon's, Caputti's (sp?), Gabriel's Gate, Fat Bob's, etc... Hell even the UB dining halls make damn good wings. You can't go wrong here.
That said, if you can't get here, Rochester is the next best option. Fun city. I don't recall very well, but I'm pretty sure the last time I was on A-street I had a blast.

Oh yeah... the shop question - Snow. Not sure if that was picked up. Talk to Timmy.

I haven't hit too many spots in Buffalo proper, other than the few around the arena. I just haven't seen the need to drive the extra 20 minutes or so when Sammy's is SO good. As well, my sources tell me that the Anchor Bar doesn't measure up, though I really want an excuse to go try the original wing. Could my sources be right?
I counted East Aurora... so the falls counts I suppose... as long as its the US side. I've not had Sammy's though (don't get up there much). My personal favorite is Duff's though - better than Anchor Bar IMO.
