How exactly? Firefox spell check doesn't work on epic since they changed servers and the built in one is also broken.

Epic's spell check works in IE as evidence by tromano becoming Romano.

Brilliant!

I may as well reply to the op while I am here...

I liked 7springs when I lived in DC. Cheap pass and good mountain vibe with the Pittsburgh influence. Never thought that driving 8 hours from my door to VT was worth it when I could be in UT in 5 from my door.

honestly you cant say tuckermans than say any resort in your list or vice a versa....

Favorite Ski resort is the question. I am sure most on here would read if it was truly best place to skis a well mountain.

Mt washington
Chic chocs
Mt Marcy
Kitana
Mansfield(which happens to be stowe.)

The OP didn't specify, so I decided to take some liberty

Technically Mt. Washington would count as a ski area; Great Glen runs cats for skiing. I believe they never go above the 'Halfway House'.

What or where is Kitana? Was that a Suzuki super bike? Do you mean Mt.Katahdin in ME? And lets end this talk about MRG being a ski resort. It is a ski area, resort implies way to many amenities that I hope never would be there.
My favorite ski area MRG
favorite resort  Sugarloaf

I liked Whiteface a lot. The very steep and long runs were favorites of mine.

I have only skied 5 places in the east: Martock and Wentworth in Nova Scotia...but these aren't worth talking about.

I really liked Jay and Stowe though.

Sugarloaf was fun as well.

Hey, I worked at Okemo... if you really know the ins and outs of the mountain, it can be a ton of fun.

Stowe when not crowded.

Tremblant below Mountain Creek?  Sounds personal.

Haystack was a fun little mountain. Next to Mt. Snow.
Anyone know what's happened to it? I know it went private a few years ago. For snowmobilers I think.

I am going with mostly the usual suspects.

1. Jay
2. Sugarbush
3. Stowe
4. Le Massif
5. Okemo
6. Saddleback

Jay is #1 because of the great powder days I have had there over the past 25 years I have been visiting.  Stowe is Stowe! I've only been to Le Massif and Saddleback a day or 2 each but really liked 'em.  Probably hit Le Massif again this year President's week.  Sugarbush was the first big area I went to when I was an impressionable teen and I have loved it ever since.  Okemo was our go to area for years when my son was younger and not as good a skier as he is now.  It's a favorite because of all the great memories and it is a fun, well laid out hill with a great lift system and superior snow making and grooming.  Doesn't hurt that we can drive there in under 3 hours as opposed to 5 for the northern VT areas.  MRG is absent from the list becase I mostly ski weekends and holidays and have not been willing to line up for the single. I have skied and enjoyed MRG and plan to get back there eventually.  Sugarloaf probably deserves an honorable mention here as does Mont Sainte Anne.
