Help me decide - new ski (Head Supershape Magnum)

Hi,
I want to buy new ski. I would like to have ski for imrovement of my carving. I am between skilled skier, not racer. After lots of readings I choose Head Supershape Magnum. But there are some things I am not sure. I am 193cm tall and my weight is 85kg. Is it Head Magnum sufficient stiff for my weight? And what length of ski I should take (170cm or 177cm). Until now I was skiing on Head C120 170cm and length was ok for me, but in higher speed started awful vibrations. So I want new better ski.
I was looking also on Rossignol Radical R9S, Rossignol Zenith Z10 09/10 and Fisher Proggresor 9+, but I like reviews of Head Supershape Magnum.
Thank you for you recommendations

Jan,  can you describe your skiing a bit more?  Sounds like you are primarily on-piste.  Carved turns?  Higher or lower speeds?  Bumps and moguls or mostly groomed?  Any off-piste or trees?

Off the cuff, assuming you are a European advanced skier the 177 sounds good for a person 6'-3 and 186 lbs.  the Head Supershape is known to be a very stable ski with great edging ability, and would not fold under your weight.

Its almost here.

I am skiing primary on piste. Normal-high speed and medium turns. If slope is empty, i love to make turn from side to side:-) I would like to learn carv turn with touching the snow (something like funcarving) and I want stability in higher speed. I really like the Head supershape magnum, but i am not sure about siffness and my weight. Thanks

If you are primarily interested in carving arcs on the groomed, you might want to try the Head SuperShape Speed, (or if not, the Head Supershape for slower tighter turns).  The Magnum has just a little bit of softness added to accommodate moguls and softer snow.  It's noticeably softer in torsional rigidity on very hard surfaces when carving fast tight turns.
