Good skis, bad skis, or somewhere in between

As you can see from my post count this is my first post, and I am not as advanced of a skier as most of you on here. Living in Pennsylvania there is not a whole lot of great skiing for me (particularly as I just got my drivers license 2 months ago so I couldn't get to any of the mountains regardless) Although I have been skiing since I was four ang go between 4-10 days a year. Anyways I started skiing Black trails about 3 years ago down in PA and last year was the first year I skied more than one of them in New Hampshire. I see a lot of different ski brands and models on here, so I wanted to get the general consensus on the gear I recently purchased. I am 6 foot and around 180 lbs. I got a pair of 2009 K2 Apache Crossfires 177cm with MX 12.0 bindings and a pair of 2009 Atomic Hawx H 80 boots. This sound good for skiing mostly groomers with some glades and back country stuff occasionally?

Skiing combines outdoor fun and knocking trees down with your face.  ~Dave Barry
