Icelantic Nomad mounting position - your thoughts?

Hello Bears:
I am looking for some input on mounting a pair of Icelantic Nomad 168 cm skis for alpine use. I have a boot sole length of 295mm as a general rule of thumb I mount with the ball of my foot over the center of the running surface (the CC mark on the skis).   When I put my boots on the skis in this position the center of boot is well in front of the BC mark on the skis. So, I’m looking for some feedback on where you have mounted Icelantic Nomads. If I mount with the ball of foot over the CC mark, my boot center will be approx. 2.7 cm forward of the BC mark. I have read recommendations to mount 1 to 2 cm forward of the BC mark. I have called Icelantic and have their feedback but I wanted to reach out to members of this forum. Your thoughts?

Thanks

Take your exact running length divide by two, that will be your ball of foot, your center mark should be about 2cm forward of the BC mark on the ski.
