Duke Chew
I've had my dukes now for ~2.5 seasons & they have eaten my AT slippers up terrible. I've not skied the Duke w/ an alpine boot much. Are folks finding Dukes eating their Alpine boots as well?

I haven't noticed any problems with my Krypton Pros. Picked up apair of Endorphines so I will see what happens this year. My daughter has used Barons for a season with her Megastars with no problems. But she only weighs 105 pounds if that makes any difference.

I would guess that the bindings aren't adjusted properly for the AT boot with a rockered sole. I haven't used mine yet, but will probably be using my alpine boot on that heavy setup.

make sure they are adjusted correctly. i work the heel piece 8-10 times before i see a consistent foward pressure adjustment on dukes. once it stays constatn i stop.

This is more of a factor of laying the ski on edge & pressuring the boot w/ a gummy sole. I have heard a ton of this in AT & figured there would be a non issue w/ a alpine boot. the have quite a rep for eating AT boots.

I was thinking that the upward toe clearance might not be correct. I have to adjust my fritzchie toe clearance when I change soles on my AT boots.

I have had some chewage going on back of kryptons from dukes, not that bad though.
