Is that your JY-15????   Once again I didn't get any sailing in this summer.  Looks peaceful but not alot of wind.

I teach snowboarding and pegger ski biking at Winter Park Resort.
What's pegger ski biking?  Glad you asked!
Ski biking at Winter Park on a powder day...ahhhh.

that's all around tahoe.  carson pass/hope valley is just a bit south.  fallen leaf lake is at the southern end of the big lake.  all my usual haunts

Nice splitter, I'm missing that place already, but it's been nice around here lately too.

My indian summer pic from the other day:

Beautiful scenery.  Too bad about the wind.

I ran into a Berkeley sailor out at the Aspen Yacht Club a few years ago.   Much to her surprise, I was able to immediately guess what the FS on her Berkeley Sailing Team T-shirt meant.

Thanks for all the kind words.

I'm still diggin' fall but it'd be nice to put down a nice skin track before thanksgiving, can't think of a better way to prep for dinner and wine...

Great trip report!  (what are you shooting with?) Winter tracks can't be too far off from what I saw today.

thanks!  Yeah, hopefully not too far off.

I got a Nikon D5000.  I liked the guts of the D90, slightly smaller for skiin' and backpackin' and the tilt swivel screen.  It seems pretty damn good at low light...
