Good Bootfitter in the Minneapolis/Twin Cities Area?

Hey there folks, anyone know of a good boot fitter in the Minneapolis/Twin Cities area?  I'm looking to get a custom footbed for some boots, as I am flat footed in my left foot.  I currently have some Superfeet Korks, but they are a little too supportive for my needs and I'd also like something a bit more lower profile.

The shops I've been able to find that offer boot fitting in the area are Joe's Ski Shop and Hi Tempo, but I haven't heard anything specifically about either of these companies.  Hi Tempo offers up something called the "FootLab" insert, while Joe's offers bootfitting, but doesn't specify whether they do custom orthodics.

Any help would be appreciated.

Joe's does a pretty good job.  I can't remember what kind of custom footbeds they do, but they do them.  Pierce is pretty popular with a lot of people on my patrol.

MPLS is a funny place for bootfitting, in that there are 4 really good shops to get your boots fit, yet there is not one individual rock star bootfitter that owns the market.

Good shops include Pierce Skate and Ski, Joes, High Tempo, and Hoigaards.

I personally know Scott Prochnow at High Tempo and he has many years of experience in the ski boot world. Also one of gregfits better guys came from High Tempo.

I agree Pierce does a good job but you're confused on their location.  They are in Bloomington near 98th and 100.  Hooigaards is in St Louis Park on Excelsior Blvd.

I like my foot beds from Hi Tempo.  They're thin but hard and I'm not sure what's best for flat feet.  My son has flat feet and footbeds seemed to make things worse.

Joe's is a little dicey.

Ah yes I was mistaken........I was on the phone with Hoigaards the other day.......must have had a brain fart while typing that.

pierce has a sort of orthotic fitter that you stand on and shows the most points of pressure to customize your orthotics.
the down side is they are almost always waaay busy. call ahead of time to make sure brian or bart are there.

Ended up at Pierce.  Great shop.  All they did was grind down some posting material off my Superfeet Korks, which were a little overbuilt.  Thanks for the advice, all.
