mostly cycling related to those people that dont read the cycling forum their loss.
spent last thursday night though Monday morning up in northern Vermont trying out for a job at Stowe. A had a very awesome Bear host in the form of Epic.
Epic's view from his house is well beautiful

the view of the stars at night is pretty good as well, you just dont see this in the burgh.

Friday morning after a late start due to laziness and really cold temps we head up to the northeast kingdom to the Kingdom Trails. typical view along the route.

with some nice houses

and some not so nice

Hippie compound!!

arriving in Burke, Vt I cant help to think where the hell are we riding at? the maps says there are alot of trails around

Sweet so we grabbed are bikes and rode, you cant hang with out Maestro

and ride we did...
simple put Kingdom trails are amazing, some of the best MTBing anywhere and Erik claims that there are better trails in the state, go figure. I could be happy riding here for many days. The trails are twisty flowly singletrack with almost no rocks, LOTS of roots, turns galore, and very little grunt climbing. the trails we rode drained well and were fairly dry despite the prior days snow/rain.
The top of the first climb we would be riding the "Darling Hill" side

View of Burke Mountain from the top darling Hill, yes thats is SNOW!!! :)

Epic with a cool little opening to the Creek below

My favorite sign EVAR!!! equines you can suck it!

Its impossiable for me not to smile I am convinced!

Epic is focused

easy roots, I wish my camera wasnt dieing cause I would have gotten more shots!!

Erik pretty much kills, very hard to keep with when going down, or anyway for the matter.

this trails rocked, didnt stop to take pictures though, basically you high mark and G out like 10 times in a row, awesome.

Pines well lost all of the pines, but at least you can see burke in this pic

more to come in alittle.
