Hi, I'm a big guy ( 6'2" 250 ) who's pretty athletic. I just got into skiing last year and got pretty decent (went 15-20 times). Bought the cheapest pair of skis I could find off craigslist so I didn't have to rent, but now I'm looking into buying a decent pair to enjoy. As I said, I only started last year, but I'm pretty aggressive and like to get after it a bit. I would like something that is good on the groomers, but can keep me on top of some of the Colorado powder. Also, something that is pretty manuverable if I venture out into the trees once in a while. I was looking at volkl mantras and gotamas, any other suggestions? Price is a bit of an issue as well. Thanks.
