Length of Volkl Tigersharks vs Dynastar Contact 10

Hey guys, I am 5'10 170 and and an advanced skiier.  I am looking for a new pair of skis for executing short turns on piste.  I am considering 161cm Tigersharks and 165 Dynastar Contact 10's. Is 161 too short for me? Thanks!

Yes.

Consider the Tigershark in a 168cm. I would recommend the Contact in a 172cm.

how well do these compare against each other? I know they have similar specs, but hey are similar in quality and performance, right?

What Tigersharks are U thinking? old 10/12 or the new 11?  I have the 10's w/switch and Love them on very firm snow on piste..  I prefer the switch on as I find it gives more rebound out of your turns, which I like..  I'm your size 10lbs heavier and have the 168's..  You might look at the contact 4x4's those RIP... Skied them last year and were a blast on firm snow...
