Appropriate Boot flex for Skiercross

hey guys, im starting to take skiercross seriously this year and im thinking of purchasing new boots. i understand from your last reply that i should be looking at a softer flex for a race boot. Is there a ballpark range that i should shoot for by any chance? i will be doing plenty of jumps and my big fear is landing in the backseat or not getting enough leverage to turn quickly. for some info on me: im 5'6", 117lbs, and am an agressive skier. thanks guys!

I watch the event a lot in the Tahoe region, but don't race it. You'll really want to talk to people that do, and at the events you should have that opporunity. As a spectator the last few years, I noticed that a lot of the gear is basically G.S. stuff. along those lines, a 120ish boot is probably da kine for skier cross.

ones that fit would be a start, you can have them made softer if needed, but fit is all important, if the boot fits well then you will be able to flex it easier than if it doesn't fit, ball park in flex terms 110-130ish
