Beaver Creek

Looking for a different area to ski with family this year. Considering Beaver Creek (vets of Park City area, Summit Cty, Steamboat, Winter Park).  Family of 4 -Teen and preteen. Would like ski in/out. Wife likes to go in and out of room throughout the day. We would like to be within walking of dining, shopping and activities when not skiing. Any reccommendations for 2 bedroom condos? Getting conflicting info about what locations are truely ski in/out and distance to main shop/dining. Looking toward first few weeks in March. Thanks.

Beaver Creek would actually fit the criteria you astablished quite well!

There is quite a bit of ski in/ ski out accommodation close in to the core Village, offering plenty of shopping and dining alternatives. Combined with free bus service down to Avon for groceries and more shopping, BC is a very family friendly environment.

The ski mtn offers plenty to keep skiers/boarders of all ages and abilities engaged. But be warned- if boarding, there are some long cat roads leading to Batchelor Gulch or Arrowhead. Those areas offer some of the best long cruising terrain once there.

We thoroughly enjoyed Beaver Creek with youngsters. Excellent easy-in-easy-out condo setups. Second that vote.

 Beaver creek is great for what your looking. Breck and Vail both offer what your looking for with different types of terrain. Whats your skiing level? Beaver Creek is great for intermediates and they have free cookies

Any particular slopeside lodging at Beaver Creek that's good/not-too-expensive?  Any to avoid?

I've been there several times, never stayed slopeside, but there's a lot of good options in Avon all of which utilize the free shuttle, only a matter of about five minutes to the mountain...
